Louboutin, Chanel, Gucci, and Prada breasts?
Working for a plastic surgeon has changed my complete perspective on breast implants and breast augmentation. It used to be that you would walk in, tell the doc you wanted breast augmentation and that’s it.
There was no selection, there was no describing the marshmallow, the gummy bear, the grapefruit, the iPhone 6, 7, 8, the porn star, etc. There was no low profile, medium profile, high profile, superwoman profile, textured, smoothed, shaped, round, square, triangle… oops, got a little carried away there. But I think you get the message. Shopping for boobs has become just as difficult as searching for the right Chanel handbag to match the Christian Louboutin shoes. As a population we no longer have a loyalty to just one brand anymore. We have a tendency to mix and match our high end brands. You are probably thinking what do brands have to do with boobs, and what do boobs have to do with fashion, and what the FU(#&$(*# is this chick going to write about? Fashion, Brands, or Boobs?
So the answer is all 3 because I believe there is a strong correlation now between the three. How we shop for boobs has also changed for women based primarily on the information available to us, but it is also influenced by the fashion trends from our favorite designers.
If you pay close attention to each designer, especially during fashion week, you will notice that the breasts will have a certain look, and hang a certain way with the different luxury brands. I would say since I am a “lumper and not a splitter” as my husband would say, I would say that 80% of the high end luxury brands will provide you with a look that will show off the female breasts as a handful of sugar, with just the right amount of nipple, a slight ski slope, with mid to low profile, and very little tissue (due to the lack of weight in most cases). I am not saying that is bad, I am just saying that is a ‘look’. However, if you look at a line like Roberto Cavalli, I think high profile, smooth,, beautiful voluptuous, come hither breasts. Breasts that are not ashamed to ‘hang out’ so to speak.
The female body, and especially the breasts are taken into consideration at the highest priority along with the hips and ass I am sure when designing beautiful pieces. So hiring the right models entails the right measurements and breasts.
Wouldn’t life be simpler if we could go see a plastic surgeon by asking for the ‘brand’ look for breast augmentation instead of trying to get in the head of a plastic surgeon? I mean think about it? You would go in for a consultation and ask for your Chanel, or Gucci implants and know exactly what you’re getting. No more guessing games. No more pictures, no more surprises at the end of surgery. Both you and your surgeon will have the Fall catalogue just released from Fashion Week in Paris in front of you as you select your breasts and get ready for surgery.
Imagine, for just a second having those double C’s delivered to the OR knowing that those babies are embossed on the back with that logo? Damn, we wear our designer undergarments and dental implants, why wouldn’t we use their breast implants, and flaunt them to the world?
As a designer, the world would truly become your oyster. You put together a fashion designer and a plastic surgeon who have the artistic vision that most of us only wish we had, who see things we don’t see, and you get some seriously beautiful finished garments and most importantly, luxuriously elite breasts!
